It was abraded mechanically and kept at 260℃ during 2 hrs so as to produce θ' phase precipitates. Characteristic θ' precipitates due to mechanical finishing were observed in the disturbed layer and the widmanstatten structure existed in the depth free from the strain produced by the mechanical action.
