| 内容記述 | A XH_2PO_4 type crystal such as Ammonium Dihydrogen Phosphate or Kalium Dihydrogen Phosphate belongs to the tetragonal system monaxial scalenohedral class, when electric field is applied to the direction of Z axis of it, these crystals change to the biaxial ones by a Kerr-effect. We study for the high speed shutter of ADP or KDP z-cut crystals by the Kerr-effect, in which consists of the crystal plate between the NESA glass electrodes, two polarisers and mounting to the camera body. In case of the operation of this shutter, very sharp wave form of peak voltage 5kV and pulse width 10^<-6> sec. from the pulse generator output is put across the electrodes of its crystal. A light pass through the crystal for the instant that the voltage is applied, so that the shutter speed is 10^<-6> sec. We used this shutter to take a photograph for the several points after the lighting of the luminosity of photographic flash lamp, and found that the luminosity curve of the flash lamp coinsides with the standard curve of that lamp, and then the former exceeded to the latter for the electro-optical shutter effect in comparison with the KDP and ADP crystal shutter. | |||||||||||||
