| 内容記述 | The recent rapid reform of the nursing care and public health care systems in the United States has been influencing the nursing practices, employment, and education there. The new strategy adopted for hospital management includes efforts to divide nursing tasks. Almost 100 tasks were replaced by work not requiring qualification for nurses, including dietary, transport, house-keeping, feed tube handling, and other tasks. Reduction in budgets for nursing has resulted in lower employment of registered nurses and new graduates or nursing schools. This environment has placed greater importance on baccalaureate education for registered nurses because they are now assigned new duties, such as supervising a large number of unlicensed assistants and assuming responsibility for staff education. In an effort to respond to the current drastic changes in nursing methods at hospital management and health care establishments, an increasing number of nursing colleges have to steer for changing their on-campus programs and are accepting directed-studies programs which are fully accredited by the National League for Nursing. | |||||||
